Lovetarian

Definition: A lovetarian is someone who tries their absolute best to be vegan or vegetarian, but sometimes finds themselves in the social situation when its kinder to eat meat cooked with love (e.g. you get home and mom’s roast is hot in the oven, or your aunt invites you over and cooks a cottage pie).
In around 2005, I found this Daily Telegraph under the floorboards in my flat in Shirland Mews, West London. To this day I wonder why someone would have gone to such lengths to store this page. What struck me though, was this really bizarre article called Eat and Let Eat.
I suppose this is a good segway into a term I’ve recently coined for my kind of diet: Lovetarian.
