Urgent need to be remembered

This form is based on the artwork Rejuvenation that was the work that launched Jonty's career. It is a unique, one-off oil painting using the form of Rejuvenation as a canvas. A kind of hyper-realism done in an anamorphic reality. The piece is called Urgent Need to be Remembered.  Jonty explains it as follows:

"As an artist I find myself continually compelled to make a difference. To make an impact. I catch myself often asking 'Why?'. Is this need to make an impact actually a way of reaching for immortality.  Is it ultimately the need to achieve a kind of immortality through being remembered?"
