Y-Woman, holds a very special place in my heart. A tribute to my incredible wife and art partner, Yifat Davidoff. This piece is much more than a sculpture; it's a celebration of the deep and multifaceted bond we share. In creating Y-Woman, I wanted to capture the essence of the beautiful complexity inherent in a loving, intimate relationship. It represents the myriad ways one can see and understand their partner - the visible, the hidden, and everything in between.

But as I sculpted, shaped, and reflected upon Y-Woman, I realized it was also a journey of self-discovery. It's about exploring the depths of my own identity, understanding how being with Yifat has profoundly shaped me. This sculpture, with its ever-changing perspectives and forms, mirrors the ongoing evolution of our relationship and of myself as an individual and as an artist.

Y-Woman is a testament to the ever-evolving nature of love and partnership. It symbolizes the constant discovery and rediscovery of each other and of ourselves. Every angle offers a new interpretation, a fresh way of seeing, reminding me that understanding one's partner - and oneself - is a journey without end, filled with endless layers and perspectives.

Creating this piece was an emotional and deeply personal experience. It's a celebration of Yifat, of us, and of the infinite ways love and understanding can transform us. Y-Woman, in its complete 360-degree revelation, is not just about seeing my partner in all her dimensions; it's also a reflection of how we see ourselves through the eyes of those we love and who love us.
